Our new Integrated Point-of-Sale (POS) system lets you manage transactions directly in Whoosh without switching platforms.
At the same time, enhanced Customer Profiles give your team quick access to key information at a glance, making it easier than ever to deliver exceptional service.

Integrated Point-of-Sale
Our new POS menu within Whoosh allows you to add, remove, and move items between players in a booking—all without switching to the Square virtual terminal. This update keeps your operations smooth and efficient, saving staff valuable time during busy days.
Quick Checkout Feature: From the tee sheet bypass the POS menu to keep the line moving. Simply select your paying player and their payment method to proceed quickly!
Automatic Updates: Once a reservation has been saved, Whoosh automatically creates a Square order to begin checkout.
Simplified Item Management: Whoosh will automatically pull a list of every item and category in Square, making it easy to add retail items, update quantities, or move items between players—all within one system. Even use a a Square compatible scanner to scan items in and add to an order.
How to Enable:
New Customers: This feature is enabled by default for new customers, as of January 1st, 2025.
Existing Customers: Whoosh Support will reach out with additional documentation and transition plans.

We’re debuting new tools and integrations that expand possibilities for operators of all kinds: private, public, and everyone in between.

With this update, staff will now have an easier time accessing critical information with less clicks:
Streamlined Design: Profiles now appear in a modal view, with key customer information avaiable at a glance in the top left-hand corner.
Improved Navigation: In the profile, department tabs (golf, racquets, fitness, etc.) are now conveniently located on the left side of the profile, eliminating the need to switch between facilities to see member information.
Specifically For Golf Departments: Staff can now set customer transportation preferences for a member directly in the Golf Department Profile tab. Simply select the preferred transportation type from the dropdown menu and save.
New Square Connectivity: From the "Personal" tab, staff can easily navigate to a customer's Square profile.
All Whoosh customers already have access to this new design.
