Here’s to making operations smoother than ever—so you can make a little extra time for holiday cheer! This month's updates range from simplifying event preparation to keeping your tee sheet full, these new features are here to help you save time and deliver an exceptional member experience:

• Waitlist Requests: Prevent gaps in the schedule with a tool that make it easy for members to request tee times.
• Event Pairings: Effortlessly manage golf event registration and pairings directly in Whoosh.
• No Show Tracking: Maintain accurate records with tools to mark and track individual or group no-shows.

Waitlist Requests

Our new Waitlist Requests feature helps operators keep tee sheets full and prevent gaps that could otherwise result in lost income. Members can request preferable times currently unavailable and get instant notifications when their request is approved by club staff. For staff, an icon will appear on the agenda if there is a group requesting that time, making it easy to fulfill the request and get a member added to the tee sheet.

This feature is currently only available for beta testing. Those interested can reply to this email to learn more about the feature and it's functionality. 

Whoosh Event Pairings

We’re thrilled to announce the release of a highly anticipated feature for golf events: Event Pairings! With this update, managing registration and pairings through Whoosh alone has never been easier. Staff can now seamlessly add groups into tee times or assign starting holes directly on the tee sheet—saving time and simplifying event preparation. Once pairings are finalized, members will receive notifications about their groupings. Plus, they can easily view their pairings, starting hole, and tee time right from their app. Currently only available to golf facilities using Whoosh Events, this feature, after being turned on, will automatically apply to new events created.

Whoosh and Foresight Sports Announce Strategic Partnership To Transform Simulator Facility Management

Earlier this week we announced our partnership with Foresight Sports to deliver a seamless “Business in a Box” solution for simulator operations.

This partnership builds on our recently announced expansion into full activity management, which introduced powerful duration-based booking and resource optimization features to recreation facilities of all kinds. Read more.

No Show Tracking

Managing bookings just got easier with Whoosh's new No Show Tracking feature. Now, you can efficiently mark individual players or entire groups as No Shows and keep your tee sheet up-to-date to ensure accurate reporting.

• Individual No Shows: To mark an individual player as a No Show, simply open the relevant booking details and select “Mark No Show” on the specific player. Once this change is saved, the player will no longer display on the tee sheet. 
• Group No Shows: To mark an entire group as a No Show, open the relevant booking details and select “Mark Group No Show” from the three dot menu on the top right. Once this change is saved, the group will no longer display on the tee sheet and the tee time will become available for another booking. 
• Viewing No Shows on Close Out: No Shows are tallied for the day and can be viewed within Close Out. To view the number of No Shows, select the Summary tab, expand the Bookings and find the No Shows listed below the total.
