What's New

This month brings event pricing that adjusts automatically by membership type, the ability to rename "Events" and "Lessons" to your own terminology, and a more informative agenda card so staff spend less time clicking through bookings. Golf confirmation emails now include hole count, and clubs can set member-facing names for their bays and courts. Read on!

Event Charges Related to Membership Type

Clubs that charge different rates for the same event based on membership or customer type no longer have to manage that manually. Each sign-up window on an event can carry its own charge, and Whoosh matches members to the right rate automatically at registration. Charges can be set as visible to everyone, selectable by the member, or restricted to staff and admins only. Existing events were migrated into the new model without any change in behavior.

Custom Labels for Events, Lessons, and More

If your club calls its programming "Clinics" or uses a different word for instructors, you can set those overrides from a new Verbiage page in Club Admin settings. Overrides apply immediately, and any field left blank falls back to the Whoosh default.

Member-Facing Names for Bays and Courts

Clubs no longer have to choose between the naming that works for staff and the naming that works for members. An optional member-facing display name can now be added to any bay or court in configuration. When the field is left blank, nothing changes.

Golf Booking Confirmation Updates

Members and guests now see the number of holes they booked in the confirmation email, without needing to open the app.

This is particularly useful at clubs with multi-course setups where course names alone don't communicate the hole count. Transportation icons in the confirmation template have also been corrected.

Agenda Card Updates

Staff can now read a booking's check-in status, note contents, and recurrence position right from the agenda card, without opening the booking. An indicator shows whether a group has arrived, hovering the note icon on desktop reveals the note in full, and recurring bookings show their position in the series (for example, 5/20) instead of the recurring symbol. Clubs with multiple lesson types can also set a short display code that replaces the generic "LESSON" badge on the card.
